A Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST) bus has been sent to Hyderabad to take part in the victory procession of the Olympic silver medal winner PV Sindhu and her coach Pullela Gopichand.

Accordingly, BEST has provided its bus Nilambari for carrying out the victory rally. The bus left Mumbai at 9.00am on Sunday with a team of drivers and maintenance staff, says the statement issued by BEST.

BEST chairman Jagdish Patil said, “It will be an honour to be part of the celebrations. The bus would cover a journey of almost 1600kms which itself is quite a remarkable feat. Congratulatory wishes shall be given to Sindhu by the team on behalf of BEST, and a poster to that effect shall be displayed on the bus.”
