In pics: 40,000 runners participate in the 14th Mumbai marathon

The 14th edition of the Mumbai Marathon was flagged-off from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) in the city on Sunday morning.
The full marathon for amateurs was started at 5.40 am and was followed by the full marathon for the elite athletes at 7.20 am. Both of these races will end at the the CST.
The half marathon race was flagged off at 5.40 am from Worli Dairy. It will go on to the Sea Link, and trace the same route back as the marathon to finish opposite CST.
Organisers of the marathon have said that more than 40000 runners from different corners of the world are taking part in the event.
