Maharashtra HSC results today: State pass percentage 89.5%, Mumbai last among all divisions at 88.21%

Mumbai city news: Konkan division stood first with 95. 20%. Pune and Kolhapur recorded pass percentage of 91.16% and 91.40%, respectively

Maharashtra has recorded a success rate of 89.50% (freshers only) in Class 12 state board exams results announced today.

The Mumbai division, including Thane, Raigad, Palghar, finished last among the nine divisions with a pass percentage of 88.21%. Konkan division stood first with 95. 20%. Pune and Kolhapur recorded pass percentage of 91.16% and 91.40%, respectively.

The science stream saw more than 95% students passing, followed by commerce at 91% and arts at 81.91%.

Students can check their results on www.mahresult.nic.in

You can take a print of your subject-wise marks from this portal.

Results can be accessed via SMS by sending MHHSC (space) (SEAT NUMBER) to 5766 for BSNL users or MAH12 (space) (ROLL NUMBER) to 58888111 for Vodafone, Idea, Reliance, Tata, BSNL users. Airtel and Vodafone users can dial USSD string *588# to get result by SMS.

For verification of marks, you can apply to divisional board in Vashi with a copy of your online results between May 31 and June 9.

Applications for photocopies of answer-sheets can be sent from May 31 to June 19. Students should get in touch with the divisional office for information on re-evaluation of answer-sheets.

Students will get two chances to better their marks through the class improvement scheme.

Registrations for the re-exams to be held July 11, 2017 onwards will begin from June 5.
