The Kasturba marg police have arrested a man for firing at two persons in Borivli (east). No one was injured in the incident.

The police said that the accused Kadar Shaikh alias Badshah had gotten into a verbal argument with two persons including one Samsher Khan, 22, in Borivli a month ago.

Recently, Kadar got to know that Samsher stays in Daulat Nagar in Borivali (east). To seek revenge, Kadar showed up in the area on Saturday armed with a country-made pistol. Spotting Samsher with another person, Kadar opened fire in their direction. The bullets missed but a few locals gathered and alerted the police.

Kadar was eventually traced to Dahisar and taken into custody. The police said that he is a repeat offender and has previous cases of firing registered against him.
