Shrikant Kamble was all dressed up and waiting for his bride at the wedding hall but his bride never turned up.

When he realised that his bride, Pooja Bhandari, was not going to show up, Kamble approached the Kalachowky police station, and registered a complaint against Pooja.

In his complaint, Kamble wrote that he had been preparing for the wedding since the past two months, and spent Rs2 lakhs for the ceremony, which never took place.

Following Kamble’s complaint, the police registered a case of cheating. However, Pooja has not been arrested yet. “We will arrest her soon, based on the complaint of the would be groom,” said N Ambika, deputy commissioner of police zone IV.

The incident happened on Monday when Kamble realised that he had been cheated and Pooja never wanted to marry him. On Tuesday, Pooja turned up at the police station and revealed that she had eloped with her boyfriend as she was being forced to marry Kamble.
