Even after questioning more than 250 people, the 20 teams of police officers from various police stations and crime branch units are yet to make a headway in the murder of Mumbai model Kritika Chaudhary.
Among those questioned are Kritika’s ex-boyfriend and 25 drug peddlers who supplied drugs to her.
“Those questioned include everyone who was in touch with Chaudhary in the past one month. We got their details from Chaudhary’s call records,” said a police officer.
According to police, Chaudhary used to call her ex-boyfriend every day. “He told us they broke up two years ago. Since then, he ignored her calls and messages,” said an officer.
The police found a metal fist knuckle from Chaudhary’s home. They also recovered the CCTV recording from a temple opposite Chaudhary’s building showing two men entering, but they haven’t been able to identify the men,
“We are not ruling out prostitution angle,” said a police officer.
The police are now recovering the deleted data from Chaudhary’s phone conversations.
After Chaudhary’s family complained of harassment by her former husband, Vijay Dwivedi, the police arrested him in connection with multiple cheating cases and on suspicion of playing a role in the murder.
