Snarls are reported at the start of Jogeshwari-Vikhroli link road.

Motorists are likely to face heavy traffic on the Bandra-Worli sea link as well the southbound stretch.

The traffic was slow moving on the eastern express highway, and from from King’s Circle Flyover until the start of JJ Flyover.

The southbound stretch of the Eastern Freeway, too, was congested.

Motorists could avoid Peddar Road and Bhulabhai Desai Marg in south Mumbai.

The rain also hit the local train services during morning peak hours. The services on the central, harbour line and western railway were running late by 15 to 20 minutes.
