Twitter was buzz on Friday after Kapil Sharma tweeted that a BMC officer demanded bribe of Rs5 lakh from him to get his office done. Reactions varied from sympathy to criticising the comedian for tagging Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While a few of the netizens criticised the state government for its promptness in acting upon a celebrity’s tweet, others resorted to personal attacks on Sharma.
Don't troll Kapil Sharma. He raised a valid concern & CM promised action. This is good. Compare this with UP & Bihar where no one reacts.— Rahul Raj (@bhak_sala) September 9, 2016

While there were those who criticised the CM, a few of them praised him for the quick response.
Even the politicos joined the bandwagon.
