Amir Siddiqui was seen walking out alone in the CCTVs installed in the hospital, said the police. The incident occurred round 7.30am when Yusuf Siddiqui, 35, Amir’s elder brother, left the hospital to bring breakfast for Amir. When he returned 30 minutes later, Amir was not on his bed, said the police.

“When Amir could not be found even after several hours, we were informed,” said an officer from Sion police station.

“The CCTV footage shows the boy walking out of the hospital. That almost rules out the possibility of him being kidnapped. For now, we have taken a missing persons complaint,” said inspector A Rahate from Sion police station.
