3 held for robbing man at Dadar beach

Manoj Naagar (20), Sanjay Chowgule (28) and Hamid Abdullah (24) have been booked for robbery and one of their accomplices is still wanted in the case, said the police.
The complainant, who earlier worked with a telecom company, lost his job on Tuesday.
According to the Shivaji Park police, Rane was drinking at the beach.
“The accused snatched his bottle and threatened to assault him if he didn’t surrender his valuables,” said police sub-inspector Shashikant Yadav.
After the accused fled with Rane’s gold chain, bracelet and wallet, he ran after them.
A police constable patrolling nearby and Koustubh Petkar, a civil engineer also joined the chase and managed to catch Naagar. With the help of Naagar the police managed to arrest the other two accused.
