Three men held a driver at knifepoint and hijacked a Toyota Innova from Juhu on Wednesday afternoon.
Driver Rajan Khedekar (24) was waiting near a Juhu school, as the maid went to drop their employer’s daughter, when three men surrounded the car.
“One whipped out a knife and told me to move to the back seat while another took over the wheel,” Khedekar claimed.
The police said Khedekar was scared for his life and did not shout for help. They covered his face with a cloth and threw him out of the car at an isolated spot in Vikhroli on the Eastern Express Highway, the police said.
Khedekar lodged a complaint with the Vikhroli police station. The case was later transferred to the Juhu police.
The Juhu police have prepared sketches of the accused based on Khedekar’s descriptions. Senior Inspector Deepak Kathkade , of the Juhu police station, said: “We are verifying the facts in the complaint.”
