Gufran, owner of the workshop where Ansari was employed, said, “Ansari had gone to his village in Bihar for a month. He returned a week ago when Kambli met him and asked him to move in with them.”
Ansari was last seen with Kambli around 9.30pm on Sunday. “Locals contacted us at around 4am on Monday and informed us about a body being found in a room at Baiganwadi. We rushed to the spot and saw Ansari’s body with his throat slit. An unused pack of condoms was also found near his body,” said Awte.
