4 Mumbaiites killed in road accident in Gujarat

Four city residents, including two women and a teenage boy, were killed while three other children were injured, when a car in which they were travelling, overturned near Dhoraji town of Rajkot district on Sunday.

The accident occurred on Sunday when city resident Alvis Bavariya, 40, who was driving the car lost control while negotiating a sharp turn, local police said.

Four people, including Alvis, his wife Krishna, 39, their son Neil, 11, and Chandni Hadvani, from Upleta died on the spot, while three children sustained minor injuries and were given primary treatment at a nearby hospital. The three injured children have been identified as Ansh, Dhrumil and Jaimil.
