A Mumbai-bound British Airways flight from London was diverted to Ahmedabad due to bad weather in the city.
The flight is expected to take-off at around 2.45 am on Saturday, after a delay of over 24-hours.
The aircraft is still parked in Ahmedabad and all the passengers were provided hotel accommodation, the airline said.
"BA-139 from London's Heathrow to Mumbai was unable to land in Mumbai last night due to very bad weather conditions over the city," British Airways Regional Manager (South Asia), Judy Jarvis, said in a statement.
The flight is expected to take-off from Ahmedabad at around 1 am on Saturday, an airline official said.
"The aircraft is likely to leave the city airport (Mumbai) for London at around 2.45 am tomorrow," the official said.
