Sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted raids at the residence of a Superintending Engineer who was caught red-handed for accepting bribe of Rs 30,000 from a contractor at Jalgaon.

Ramchandra Tejale and deputy divisional officer Madhukar Sene had demanded Rs 30,000 from one Pandit Chavan for clearing his government contract bill, ACB sources said today.

The bureau, who caught the duo red-handed, conducted raids at the residence of Tejale at Nashik and found furnitures, LCDs, televisions, cars and agricultural lands worth crores of rupees, they said.
Offences have been registered at the Jalgaon police station.
