Anna Hazare’s supporters in Mumbai will launch their campaign for the Jan lokpal bill from August Kranti Maidan at 8 pm on Tuesday.
Hazare and Arvind Kejriwal will vow, along with their supporters, to fight till death against the ongoing corruption in the country.
Prior to this, India Against Corruption (IAC), Mumbai, will be initiating a vehicle rally in the morning from Swami Narayan temple at Dadar station (East) to Azad Maidan to publicise the anti-corruption campaign. “In the vehicle rally we will protest against the government Lokpal bill and at Azad Maidan in the public meeting Anna Hazare will explain the difference between the government-proposed bill and the Jan Lokpal bill,” said Akshay Asthana, IAC volunteer.
After the Azad Maidan public meeting, septuagenarian Hazare will visit August Kranti Maidan where he will pledge with supporters to fight against corruption and will lead a torch relay at the maidan.
