Nadim Shaikh, a prime accused in Raj Agarwal kidnapping and murder case, was given bail by the Bombay High Court on Tuesday.

The court granted him bail mainly on the ground of parity as other accused in the case have already got bail.

Shaikh will have to furnish a bond for Rs 25,000 and surety for the same amount.

Shaikh and six others were convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment for kidnapping 14-year-old Raj Agarwal in November 2003 for ransom and later murdering him.
