Authorities under the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators Act (SAFEMA) and Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act have filed an additional affidavit in the Bombay high court seeking the court’s nod to finalise the auction of a bungalow in Bhopal belonging to London-based drug baron Iqbal Mirchi’s wife, Heena Kausar.

The affidavit has also sought for a fresh auction of her two flats at Milton Apartments on Juhu Tara Road, Versova.

According to the authorities, the property in Bhopal called Bhoot Bungalow fetched a bid of Rs7.5 crore and if the same is not finalised, it will result in a heavy monetary loss in case the bidder withdraws on account of delay.

The court has kept the case for final hearing on Tuesday.
