The Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) on Tuesday announced that students can opt for a second degree course at the university along with their full-time degree course.
A student who is studying a full-time degree at any university can simultaneously pursue a degree course at YCMOU and be awarded two degrees in three years.
"YCMOU does not ask for a migration certificate or any original documents for admission. Hence a student enrolled with a conventional university for a degree programme can be admitted for any of the 206 YCMOU degrees, professional and diploma programmes," said Shrinivas Velsare, head, corporate communications, YCMOU.
YCMOU is recognised by the University Grants Commission and a degree awarded by the university has the same status as any other Indian university.
