The Bombay High Court on Friday said it had failed to reconcile warring parents who are engaged in their child’s custody.
A division bench of acting Chief Justice J.N. Patel and Justice B.R. Gavai said attempts to reconcile dispute between South African husband and Indian wife has failed. The case will be heard after two months.
The high court had allowed the father to meet the five-year-old Amit (name changed) for four hours on Thursday. The father has sought Amit’s deportation. Justice Patel said they tried to explain to the mother the need to settle the differences in the child’s interest.
