The Khar police have issued notices to former Miss Mauritius Viveka Babajee's ex-boyfriends, Rohit Jugraj and Kartik Jobanputra, asking them to be present at the police station for questioning in the supermodel's suicide.
Senior Inspector Mangesh Pote said, "We have issued notices to Kartik and Rohit and will be questioning them."
The police had questioned Viveka's friend, Gautam Vora, on Monday and Tuesday. Vora had told the police that Viveka and Kartik fought often.
The police have still not been able to ascertain the reason for Viveka's suicide and have prepared a list of 10 people who will be questioned.
The list includes Viveka's ex-boyfriends, family and close friends. The police said questioning Jugraj and Jobanputra will help them because the two knew Viveka well and may be able to throw light on reasons behind the drastic step.
Thirty-seven-year-old Viveka was found hanging in her Khar apartment on Friday.
Jobanputra and Viveka were together until mid-2009.
The duo parted ways following differences in personal and business matters.
Jugraj and Viveka were together for three years and he was very close to her family.
Viveka's family has left for Nashik for her last rites.
The police will record their statements once they return.
The police are also waiting for the forensic reports of Viveka's mobile phone and laptop hoping they will reveal some information on the events preceding the model's death.
The police found a diary from Viveka's residence in which she had mentioned Vora's name in an entry that read: "you killed me, Gautam Vora."
