Students are eagerly awaiting the first general list that will be declared today, but they hoping it won’t be as chaotic as the previous two lists for vocational courses.
While the admission lists are supposed to be declared at 5 pm, the education department always uploads it after 7.30 pm. During the second vocational list, the department first uploaded wrong date and then clarified it with students and colleges. The general list has a lot more aspirants — over two lakh — compared with the vocational, which was a mere 31,000. “With more streams and students, I am hoping the list comes out on time. Late lists are very stressful,” said Colin D’Souza, a student.
Students, who have made it on the first general merit list, can pay their fees from August 10 to 13.
