Chief minister Prithviraj Chavan assured social activist Anna Hazare on Friday that the government is taking suitable action to check corruption. Hazare demanded that the state should adopt the law in Bihar, which gives state an immense power to act against corrupt officials and politicians. The law also provides for special courts to run corruption cases.
“Chavan has assured to take action on all my complaints in one month’s time. If Bihar can have a potent law against corruption, why can’t we have it?”
