The Bombay High Court has upheld the removal of a superintending engineer working with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation who claimed that he was being penalised for being a “whistle-blower”.

KK Sethi, 56, was dismissed by ONGC in 2007 for making false allegations against the senior officers on the company's portal, among other things.

Sethi had earlier filed a petition challenging his transfer to Mehsana and sought quashing of inquiry proceedings against him. When he was removed, he challenged that too.
