Hotel director arrested, 91 revellers take drug tests

The sundown party at the hotel was raided on Sunday night. While a chunk of the revellers were foreign nationals, IPL players Rahul Sharma and Wayne Parnell, Shilpa Agnihotri, wife of TV actor Apurva Agnihotri, and Bollywood designer Rocky S were present as well.
Handa, who was booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, was remanded in police custody till May 25.
"During the raid, police found 110 gram cocaine and hashish," said assistant public prosecutor DM Mudigautti. The police need to interrogate Handa to find the source of the drugs.
While the guests sent for forensic tests claimed innocence, officials of the Mumbai's Kalina forensic science laboratory (FSL) said it would take a month for the reports to come in.
An official from Maharashtra FSL said they have not received any samples yet.
"But a delay in sending samples will not impact tests. The vital part is taking the samples within the stipulated time," he said.
"I had dropped in at Oakwood Premier for 10 minutes to wish a friend, Samantha, on her birthday," said Rocky S. "I had a flight to catch the next morning. I was shocked as the raid started, since I hadn't done drugs or anything like that."
