Ladharam Jagwani

Ladharam Jagwani, the 72-year-old businessman who’s gold chain was snatched after he was attacked on Wednesday afternoon, is in a state of shock.

“After I was hit, I collapsed and thus failed to see the assailant. I was in a semi-conscious state and for a moment couldn’t realise what had happened,” said Jagwani.

“I was attacked from behind, within the building premises itself. I started bleeding profusely and even after I was taken to hospital, I continued to feel very dizzy,” said the traumatised senior citizen.

Jagwani said that although he has been running the shop for the past five years, he had never faced such an incident in the area.

“The assailant must be arrested soon,” said Jagwani, while showing his blood-soaked white shirt.
