Indian Idol 5 winner Sreeram Chandra will now be seen performing a special song in the Indian versions of the much-awaited Hollywood magnum opus The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

To be recorded in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, the song will feature with the end credits of the respective vernacular versions of the upcoming 3D fantasy-adventure film.

The song Rehnuma, composed by Harpreet, is also a part of Sreeram's first album released by Sony Music after his winning the prestigious title in August this year.

"Indian Idol was a dream come true and now Rehnuma in Narnia 3 is like magic unfolding right in front of my eyes. I am delighted, honoured and humbled to have this opportunity," an ecstatic Sreeram said in a statement on Thursday.

The Hyderabad-based professional singer had won the hearts of millions during the Indian Idol contest with his melodious voice.

The film, which will release in India on December 3, a week ahead of its US release, will also have a special music video featuring Sreeram.

This association is part of a unique initiative by the producers of the film Twentieth Century Fox, where a special song for the film is being recorded by several international artists for their respective country markets around the world.

"Sreeram's fresh, youthful voice is a perfect match to the exciting & thrilling Narnia experience. It's undoubtedly a hit song," Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star Studios India said.
