The Bombay High Court dismissed a petition filed by a judge from Sindhudurg district challenging her “unceremonious removal from service” allegedly because she was caught on camera in a compromising position.
The Bombay High Court on Monday dismissed a petition filed by a judge from Sindhudurg district challenging her “unceremonious removal from service” allegedly because she was caught on camera in a compromising position.
The petition said on July 23, 2009, the judge, who is a divorcee, was called in the chamber of then chief justice of the high court, and told about a CD showing her and a man in a hotel room at Nashik.

She was shown the CD, in the presence of a woman judge, and onwas asked to resign to save herself from “the embarrassment of an inquiry proceeding”.
