Jagdesh Sidhu, an electrician, was arrested by the Kherwadi police on Saturday in connection with the murder of 50-year-old Venkatesh Mistry, on Wednesday.

Mistry was found dead on the terrace of a building in Bandra (East) on Wednesday. Sidhu had given Mistry Rs60,000 around six months ago. Mistry had returned only Rs10,000 to the accused. Mistry then allegedly began to ignore the accused every time he was asked for money.

On Wednesday, Sidhu took Mistry to the terrace and they got into an argument over the money that was yet to be paid. Following this, Sidhu allegedly stabbed Mistry and then strangulated him. Sidhu is currently in police custody.
