A 32-year-old man was arrested by the Kapurbawdi police station for masquerading as a eunuch and looting a man.

Naresh Yadav, originally from Nepal, had come to Thane for work three months ago. “He initially worked as a construction labourer. A few days ago, he met a eunuch named Chandani, who told him to join her as he could earn more.

Early this week, Chandani and he looted a man near Lodha Paradise on the Eastern Express Highway.

The man filed a complaint and we nabbed Yadav from the same spot. Chandani managed to escape,” said assistant inspector CR Chavan.
