Terror struck Mumbai when serial blasts struck the city reminiscent of the train blasts of July 2006. HT brings you up to date.

*Three low intensity bomb blasts at Dadar, Zaveri Bazar and Opera House.

*According to Maharashtra CM, at least 13 people have been killed while 81 injured.



*Fire brigade and Mumbai police carrying out rescue operations.



*Teams of state forensic science laboratory at the spot.



*Team from NSG’s National Bomb Data Centre to reach the spots by midnight from Manesar, Haryana.



*The blasts happened two days after the fifth anniversary of the July 11, 2006 serial train blasts and a day after the anti terrorism squad declared arrest of two top Indian Mujahideen operatives.



*Preliminary reports point to Indian Mujahideen imprint.



*Investigators say the intention of triggering the explosions was more to spread panic rather than kill people.
