NCP chief Sharad Pawar held a meeting late on Wednesday to discuss party’s strategy for the upcoming local self-government elections, including Mumbai corporation polls.
Sources said there are likely to be some changes in the leadership of the Mumbai NCP unit as party’s base in the city is weak and senior leadership is keen on bringing in a new face to boost party’s prospects.
The party’s city unit is led by Narendra Verma. Pawar is expected to appoint point persons for the upcoming polls. Pichad said that Pawar would also review ministers’ performance.
