Navi Mumbai police launch 24-hr helpline for residents

For the convenience of Navi Mumbai residents, the police have embarked on a maiden exercise in the city. The Navi Mumbai police commissionerate has initiated a 24-hour helpline service aimed at solving problems faced by residents.

For the convenience of Navi Mumbai residents, the police have embarked on a maiden exercise in the city. The Navi Mumbai police commissionerate has initiated a 24-hour helpline service aimed at solving problems faced by residents.

For information regarding the jurisdiction of various Navi Mumbai police stations, information on all branches and offices of the Navi Mumbai police, for providing information on daily incidents and in case of emergencies, residents can call the police helpline number, 77 3836 3836.

They have also issued a different number, 1800 200 2122, for senior citizens, women and children for solving the same problems.

In case of any accidents, traffic movements, congestion, or for information regarding traffic police service, traffic complaints and for contact numbers of traffic police officers, residents can call 77 3839 3839.

Navi Mumbai police commissioner Ahmed Javed said, “We have introduced these help line numbers for keeping the city under surveillance, so that people can contact us any time.”

He added, “In case of an emergency, normally the residents get confused regarding whom to contact. We have taken this step for their convenience.”

“We assure the residents of initiating help the moment we receive calls from them. We appeal to them to cooperate with us for the proper implementation of this plan.”
