Barely a month after getting electricity connection to their building restored, 36 families living in Harsiddhi Heights at Worli may be again compelled to live without the basic requirement, as BEST has issued a notice to them.

BEST had restored electricity supply to the building, which forms part of commercial unit in a SRA project, on May 26 after interim orders from the HC. However, BEST has again issued a notice to Harsiddhi residents asking them to show cause why electricity supply to their building should not be discontinued for non-compliance of statutory requirements.

Acting on a petition filed by a resident, Renuka Shah, the HC on Friday directed BEST to decide on the show-cause notice after hearing the residents.
