The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) made it clear on Saturday that the upcoming budget session of the parliament is not going to be a smooth affair until the government appointed a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on the 2G scam.

“We want the parliament to function smoothly however it is not possible until the government sets up a JPC in the 2G scam,” BJP President Nitin Gadkari said at a function at Navi Mumbai.

Almost the entire winter session of Parliament was washed out due to the opposition-government standoff on the issue of JPC probe into the spectrum allocation.
