The appeals filed by Ketan and Vivek Anand – sons of filmmaker Chetan Anand (brother of actor Dev Anand) – against their life sentence for allegedly murdering actor Priya Rajvansh, will be heard by the Bombay high court.
The records and proceedings pertaining to the case were received by the high court from the sessions court on Wednesday. A division bench of justice AM Khanwilkar and justice AR Joshi kept the appeals filed by Anand brothers and their two alleged accomplices for final hearing.
Rajvansh was found dead in Chetan Anand’s bungalow at Juhu in 2000.
Ketan, Vivek and their domestic helps Mala Chowdhary and Ashok Chinaswamy were found guilty of murdering Rajvansh in 2001.
