Traffic jams were reported in various parts of the city during the morning rush hour. The traffic police said they were a result of continuous rain.

The Western Express Highway (WEH) witnessed snarls from Aarey in Goregaon towards Khar on the northbound stretch since 9am, according to the Mumbai traffic police. Apart from the WEH, SV Road and LBS Road also saw slow-moving traffic, but the situation is under control, traffic police officers said.

While there were reports of a minor bus accident on LBS Road , the Mumbai traffic police said no major accidents were reported since Sunday night.

There was waterlogging at Khar on Sunday as the city welcomed its first showers, but there were no reports of waterlogging in the city on Monday.

There were, however, complaints on social media of local trains running late.
