A day after a high-intensity blast rocked the capital, Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray criticised the Union home minister P Chidambaram, saying he did not act on intelligence inputs. He also came down heavily on Chidambaram’s body language.

“If the government did have intelligence inputs then it is surprising as to why they did not act and keep the attack in check,” Uddhav said while talking to reporters on Thursday.

Uddhav also came down on the body language of the home minister. “His body language is such as if nothing has happened.” Thackeray added that the Centre should take some positive steps and counter such attacks.

“It is only after Afzal Guru who is convicted for a death penalty in Parliament attack case is executed that all this would stop,” he said.
