After parting ways from Arvind Kejriwal and deciding to rejuvenate his little-known Bhrashtacharvirodhi Jan Andolan, social activist Anna Hazara is likely to restructure his core team - inducting fresh faces and replacing some familiar ones.

Sources close to Hazare said it was likely that Hazare’s close aid, Suresh Pathare, may be axed from his core team.

Hazare, sources said, decided to restructure his core team at Ralegan Siddhi, when several representatives of BJA expressed their resentment about the people surrounding him during the annual meeting held last Sunday.

According to sources, Pathare, who has been with Hazare for a long time, was conspicuous by his absence in his recent crucial Delhi meeting with Kejriwal. “It was for the first time that Anna has gone alone to Delhi without any aide,” said a source close to Hazare said. Pathare has been expressing Hazare’s views on several television channels and used to represent Hazare at meetings in his absence.

Pathare is expected to stay away from current responsibilities or likely to be assigned works involving less responsibility, sources said. Pathare was not available despite several attempts to contact him. Two more close aides, who used to play a crucial role in Hazare’s decision making, are likely to kept away from the restructuring process.

Both of them are from Hazare’s village, Ralegan Siddhi.
