Symbiosis student dies in accident on expressway

A student of Symbiosis College in Pune was killed while three of his classmates injured in an accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on Sunday.

A student of Symbiosis College in Pune was killed while three of his classmates injured in an accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on Sunday.

Aniruddha Singh Ajit Singh (18) was driving his Corolla when he lost control of the vehicle and drove the car on the road divider near Taje petrol pump, the Kamshet police officials investigating the case said.

Aniruddh’s classmates Abhinav Gupta, Suyash Lunawat and Anilket Gupta suffered injuries in the incident, a police official said, requesting anonymity.

All the four students were from Kota town of Rajasthan. They were studying in the first year BCS course at Symbiosis, the official added.

The four were on their way to Pune from Mumbai, another police officer said.
