The Kandivli police registered a rape case after a 12-year-old girl was targeted by her 17-year-old neighbour, when she was alone at her Kandivli (West) residence on Saturday morning.

According to the police, the girl was alone at her residence in the Ganesh Nagar area of Kandivli (West) at around 11am, when the accused went to her house and raped the girl in her room. The juvenile accused allegedly took advantage of the situation after finding her alone and  sneaked into her room while the door was ajar.
