Two persons sustained serious injuries in a head on collision of two vehicles at newly constructed Bandra-Worli sea link on Wednesday morning, police said.
This is the third accident on the sea link in the past week.
The two persons were rushed to the Lilavati hospital, they said.
Earlier this week, a car had dashed into a taxi killing the driver and a 14-year-old boy.
According to MSRDC officials, the main reasons behind frequent accidents on the sea link are speeding, over-taking and U-turns, which is not permitted.
"Regular complaints have been coming with regard to drivers taking U-turns from the Worli end of the sea link," an official from MSRDC said.
