The crime branch arrested two more persons in connection with the killing of gangster Farid Tanasha on June 2 at his Tilak Nagar home.

Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Deven Bharti confirmed the arrests of Ravindra Chavan and Lalji Bhai.

Sources said they were arrested on Sunday and will remain in police custody until July 9.
“Laljibhai was a hawala operator who helped the movement of money from one place to another while Chavan was entrusted with collecting money from builders and handing it over to the concerned persons,” a police source said.
On Friday, the crime branch arrested nine people from Bharat Nepali’s gang and claimed that the group was involved in the murder of Chhota Rajan aide.
