Relatives of the girl, who did not wish to be named fearing police harassment, said that the sequence of events were suspicious. "There was a blackout, following which, we called Sikandar [name changed] to restore the electric supply. He came with his friend, restored the power supply and left. Around half-an-hour after that, Angel went missing," said a family member. The family added that the house was made of wood and the main door's lock was not strong.
