The Railways couldn’t have cared less. A 40-year-old man lay severely injured for 30 minutes at Marine Lines station before he was taken to a hospital on Sunday.
Earlier, a dead body lay on the platform at Dadar railway station for eight hours before it was taken away. The reason?
There were no ambulances at the stations. This despite a high court directive ordering the Railways to keep ambulances at all stations and provide medical aid to victims within an hour.
