Yuva Sena to strive for Shiv Sena's victory in civic polls

Chief of Yuva Sena, a youth wing of Shiv Sena, Aditya Thackeray on Sunday that the youth wing make efforts to ensure Shiv Sena-BJP's victory in the upcoming civic polls across the state.

He was speaking to PTI in Thane this morning after flagging off the prestigious Thane Mayor Marathon which entered the 22nd year this year. People from all age groups participated in the event in large numbers.

Thackery Jr not only flagged off the event but also participated in it by running for about half a kilometer, to cheer the participants.

Calling the 13/7 blasts in Mumbai as unfortunate, he said that terrorists attacked from behind, as they could not attack from the front.

On the role of the Yuva Sena in polls, Thackeray just said, 'wait and watch'.

After his run, Thackeray told the media that he was happy to have participated in the event.

Thane mayor Ashok Vaity, district Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde, MLAs Pratap Sarnaik, Rajan Vichare, MLC Sanjay Kelkar, MP Anand Paranjpe, Leader of the House Pandurang Patil, Leader of Opposition Najeeb Mulla and Thane Municipal Commissioner R A Rajeev were also present on the occasion.
