Bollywood composer Manj aka Manjeet Ral , former member of popular Punjabi music group RDB ( Rhythm Dhol and Bass) will soon be releasing two singles – Lakh hila De and Maarge. The singer- composer has roped in British actor Amy Jackson to sing in the first song and appear in its music video.

Sunny Leone features in the music video for the latter, which has been sung by Manj’s wife Nindy.

“ I just thought, that if film producers can use our independent singles in their films, we can also ask these actors to feature in our videos. Thankfully I have had great relationships with a lot of Bollywood actors including Amy and Sunny. It was an absolute treat to work with both of them,” he says.

The singer feels that he is in a space where he can devote enough time to independent music because he has already secured himself in Bollywood.

‘I am in a space where I am cosy and comfortable enough to experiment with what kind of music I want to promote. I mean Bollywood helps me to keep creating tunes, which keeps on my feet and in sync with what everyone is currently listening to. So from that perspective, I am quite settled in the industry,” he says.

“This gives me room to work on my independent music and experiment with sounds. It’s a completely different zone for me and I absolutely love what I can do when I am making music for myself, you know,” he quips.

“I think its quite important to follow up a song with a music video, because you want the audience to establish some kind of recall value. It gives your song something more and sometimes that’s what matters,” he adds.
