British singer Adele’s ‘Rolling In The Deep’ has topped another major end-of-year music poll as 2011’s best song. Spin magazine editors have kept Adele on the top over Beyonce’s Countdown and California by Ema.
The Rapture’s How Deep is Your Love and Novacaine by Frank Ocean complete Spin’s top five tracks, reported Contactmusic. Adele’s Rolling in the Deep was recently awarded with the Best Single honours from Rolling Stone magazine.
The British singer has also been nominated for six awards at the 54th Grammys, continuing her awards success despite recent health woes.
Her second album 21 has already become the biggest selling album of the century after it toppled Amy Winehouse Back to Black just three months after it reached the top slot.
In fact, Rolling In The Deep was also tipped for Record Of The Year, along with Bon Iver's Holocene, Hawaiian crooner Bruno Mars' Grenade, The Cave by British folk rockers Mumford and Sons, and Katy Perry's Firework.
She also recently became the first artist to secure three milestones on the iTunes music chart, scoring 2011's top-selling single, top-selling album and being named the iTunes Artist of the Year.
