Avinisiya Entertainment chairman Umesh Chug and singer-composer Aadesh Srivastava got singer Akon to shoot the video for the song, One for the world… on Wednesday in Mumbai. The video, which is part of the album Sound Of Peace, was shot at Filmistan Studio in Goreagon. Srivastava’s son Avitesh is also a part of the song. “The album aims to promote world peace and harmony. The idea is to create an international brotherhood,” says R&B star Akon.

Chug, who runs an entertainment business in Africa with Akon, says, “The video was shot in croma format (against a green backgrounds) and took almost six hours to wrap up. Scenes of floods, earthquakes and typhoons will be added at a later stage.”

The album that has nine songs will be released worldwide next year. "We haven’t finalised who will sing the remaining akonsongs. Wyclef Jean and Amitabh Bachchan could be part of the album," informs Chug.

Akon arrived in the city on Tuesday and spent the evening meeting friends, including Shah Rukh Khan. After recording the song from Wednesday morning to late afternoon, he drove down to Pune for a private concert. The American-born star then flew out of the country.
