It's been just two years since music director-singer Ankit Tiwari rose to fame for his compositions in Aashiqui 2 (2013).

And now that Ankit has carved a niche for himself in the industry, he is trying to help struggling lyricists who approach him for work. "There is no dearth of talented lyricists and I know many of them don't get an opportunity. After I received success, many of them approached me via e-mail or phone calls to tell me about their work. If I feel that a song written by a lyricist is fit for a film on which I am working as a composer, I give them the break," says Ankit.

The composer shares the success of lyricists Abhay Kumar Upadhyay (Tu Hai Ki Nahi from Roy) and Mohnish Raza who wrote a song for an upcoming Emraan Hashmi starrer. The two lyricists will be working with Ankit in the near future. "Abhay will be working with me for more projects. I liked Mohnish's work and introduced him to Mahesh Bhatt. I plan to give opportunities to more such talented people," says Ankit.
